Stainless steel grade 316 is an austenitic alloy that offers excellent resistance to crevice and pitting corrosion in harsh environments. The manufacturing process for stainless steel 316L instrumentation valves involves hot and cold forging to ensure high quality. The valves are forged into the desired shape and finished to meet industry standards. The hot forging process, also known as forging, involves exposing the stainless steel material to heat and compression between upper and lower dies to mold it into the desired shape. This process gives the valves a high-quality finish, which is crucial for meeting the demands of the client industry.
The valves also offer higher resistance to oxidation in fluctuating temperatures up to 870 degrees C, and they are readily weldable and machinable. The fabrication of Stainless steel 316Ti valves is enhanced by a slower rate speed, feeds, and adequate cut depth, ensuring that they are manufactured to the highest quality standards. They are widely used in chemical industries due to their leakage-proof connections and excellent corrosion resistance which are also offered by 317 SS Instrumentation Valves.
