About Titanium Gr.2 Instrumentation valves

Titanium Grade 2 Instrumentation Valves have a high chromium content and a low nickel content, making them resistant to high temperatures in sulfur-bearing conditions. Our valves also show oxidation resistance and increased strength at elevated temperatures.
These Titanium Grade 2 Instrumentation Valves have a low carbon absorption tolerance and are not approved for use in extremely carburizing conditions. Our Titanium Gr.2 instrumentation valves are used in critical and challenging applications because of their superior corrosion resistance, weldability, and formability properties. This rating is higher than titanium gr.1, and this grade is both biocompatible and non-toxic.

What is Titanium Gr.2?
This grade of titanium is more substantial and has high corrosion resistance. This alloy has good weldability and formability properties. It also provides increased strength. Grade 2 is the most widely used titanium alloy in all product forms for industrial service, offering an excellent balance of moderate strength and reasonable ductility. Highly corrosion resistant in highly oxidizing and mildly reducing environments, including chlorides. Titanium Gr.2 is used in both hot and cold forming. This grade will not react with chemicals such as nitric acids, sulfuric acids, phosphoric acids, and more.
