Why is Stainless Steel 310S grade used?
Stainless steel 310S contains Chromium, nickel, carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorous, sulfur, molybdenum, copper, and iron. Stainless steel 310S grade is immune to oxidation and hardened and strong at low temperatures. This grade of stainless steel is a heat-resistant alloy with superior corrosion resistance properties to other metals. Standard procedures readily fabricate this alloy and are also easily welded.
